As part of an effort to drive program decision-making and design towards the field with more efficient and innovative technical support, USAID has proposed moving the Office of Education into a new Bureau for Development, Democracy, and Innovation (DDI). Policy, planning, and resource functions will be combined in the Bureau for Policy Resources and Performance (PRP) to better integrate policy and resources and unite program and budget functions. PRP will also establish clear and objective metrics that will allow USAID to track host country progress and inform development strategies.
